- Rosaleda Cecilio Rodríguez (Retiro Park)
P.º de Fernán Núñez, 4, Retiro, 28009 MadridA lovely place! This landscaped, tranquil, and peaceful garden is home to 4000 rose bushes, ponds, flower-covered arches, and stone fountains. Don’t miss this garden, located next to the sculpture of the Fallen Angel. Additionally, Retiro still offers the blooming of chestnuts, lilacs, tulips… In short, a walk through the park will be truly picturesque. Hours: Daily from 10:00 to 20:00. Free entry.2. Here you will find around 5000 roses of over 500 different varieties. From wild species to modern hybrids, this garden brings together the best of roses from around the world. Some of these varieties adorned European gardens from the 18th and 19th centuries. By the way, the Most Beautiful Rose in the World is chosen here. Entrance fee: 4 euros, but you can enter for free on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
3. Rosaleda del Parque del Oeste
C. de la Rosaleda, s/n, Moncloa – Aravaca, 28008 Madrid
In the Moncloa district lies one of Madrid’s largest parks. But what few know is that in the Parque del Oeste, there is a rose garden spanning over 30,000 m2. Here, around 20,000 rose bushes bloom, showcasing over 650 varieties from around the world. In the midst of the rose garden, there is a large fountain with benches where you can rest and enjoy the scenery.
4. Rosaleda del Parque de El Capricho

One of Madrid’s most beautiful parks, yet unknown to many, houses a rose garden with over 5,000 rose bushes. Since the 18th century, El Capricho has delighted the people of Madrid. The rose garden is located in the southern part of the park, featuring over 20 varieties of roses. In addition to the rose garden, it’s also worth visiting the Palacio de los Duques de Osuna, the labyrinth, the pond, the impressive historical statues, and the vast array of plants and trees from around the world.
